حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " حَلَالٌ بَيِّنٌ، وَحَرَامٌ بَيِّنٌ، وَبَيْنَ ذَلِكَ أُمُورٌ مُشْتَبِهَةٌ، فَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَا اشْتَبَهَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْإِثْمِ، أَوِ الْأَمْرِ، فَهُوَ لِمَا اسْتَبَانَ لَهُ أَتْرَكُ، وَمَنِ اجْتَرَأَ عَلَى مَا شَكَّ، أَوْشَكَ أَنْ يُوَاقِعَ مَا اسْتَبَانَ (١) ، وَمَنْ يَرْتَعْ حَوْلَ الْحِمَى، يُوشِكْ أَنْ يُوَاقِعَهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters. Whoever leaves the doubtful matters will easily be able to leave the unlawful. And the sanctities of Allah are His pastures, and whoever grazes his animals around the pasture, there is a fear that he may enter into it."
