حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، (٢) قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تَوَادِّهِمْ، وَتَعَاطُفِهِمْ، وَتَرَاحُمِهِمْ، مَثَلُ الْجَسَدِ، إِذَا اشْتَكَى مِنْهُ عُضْوٌ (٣) تَدَاعَى سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالسَّهَرِ وَالْحُمَّى " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The example of the believers in their mutual love, compassion, and kindness is like that of a body; when one limb suffers, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever.
