Translation

English translation

Abdullah bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I was sitting with Sulaiman bin Surad (may Allah be pleased with him) and Khalid bin Urfatah (may Allah be pleased with him). Both of them intended to attend the funeral of a man who had died from a stomach illness. During this, one said to the other, "Did the Prophet (ﷺ) not say that whoever dies from a stomach illness will not be punished in the grave?" The other replied, "Why not."
