Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى، (١) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ يَعْنِي بَشِيرًا، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَبْرِدُوا بِصَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ، فَإِنَّ الْحَرَّ مِنْ فَوْرِ جَهَنَّمَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Safwan Zahri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Perform the prayer at a cooler time, for the severity of heat is due to the effect of the heat of Hell."
