حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَشْجَعَ، ١٨٢٩٠ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنَّا مِنْ أَشْجَعَ، قَالَ: " رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ خَاتَمًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَطْرَحَهُ، فَطَرَحْتُهُ إِلَى يَوْمِي هَذَا " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from a companion of Banu Ashja‘ (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) saw me wearing a gold ring, so he ordered me to take it off. Thus, I have kept it off until today (and never wore it again).
