حَدِيثُ مَعْنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ السُّلَمِيِّ (١)، ١٨٢٧٥ - حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْجُوَيْرِيَةِ، عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ السُّلَمِيِّ، سَمِعْتُهُ (٢) يَقُولُ: " بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَأَبِي وَجَدِّي، وَخَاصَمْتُ إِلَيْهِ، فَأَفْلَجَنِي، وَخَطَبَ عَلَيَّ، فَأَنْكَحَنِي " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ma'n bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) that I, my father, and my grandfather pledged allegiance at the hand of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ). I presented my case before the Holy Prophet (ﷺ), and the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) decided in my favor. He also recited the sermon for my marriage proposal and solemnized my marriage.
