حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، مَوْلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، يُحَدِّثُ، ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ، فَرَأَى غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا، فَلْيَأْتِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ، وَلْيُكَفِّرْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Whoever swears an oath about something and then sees something else better than it, he should do that which is better and offer expiation for his oath.
