Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that so many lice had infested my head that I thought every hair on my head, from root to tip, was filled with lice. When the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) saw this condition, he ordered me to shave my head, and when the mentioned verse was revealed, the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Feed six needy people with three sa’ of dates."
