حَدِيثُ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ أَخِي أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ، ١٨٠٨٠ - حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ، حَدَّثَنَا كُرَيْبُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، أَخِي أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اللهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فَنَاءَ أُمَّتِي قَتْلًا فِي سَبِيلِكَ، بِالطَّعْنِ، وَالطَّاعُونِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Burdah bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him), who is the brother of Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: O Allah! Ordain the death of my Ummah in Your path by spears and in the state of plague.
