حَدِيثُ مَالِكِ بْنِ عَتَاهِيَةَ (١)، ١٨٠٥٧ - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي حَسَّانَ (٢) ، عَنْ مُخَيِّسِ بْنِ ظَبْيَانَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ جُذَامٍ (٣) ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ عَتَاهِيَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِذَا لَقِيتُمْ عَاشِرًا فَاقْتُلُوهُ " (٤)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Malik bin Atahiya (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: If you see someone unjustly collecting tax, then kill him. The previous hadith is also narrated from Qutaiba bin Saeed.
