حَدِيثُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، ١٨٠٥٢ - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " ارْكَبُوا هَذِهِ الدَّوَابَّ سَالِمَةً، وَايْتَدِعُوهَا (١) سَالِمَةً، وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوهَا كَرَاسِيَّ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Ride animals when they are healthy and sound, and let them go in the same condition. Do not consider them as chairs for your conversations with each other on roads and in markets.
