English translation
It is narrated from Dailami (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about this issue: "We live in a cold region, and to ward off the severity of the cold, we use a drink made from wheat." The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Does drinking it cause intoxication?" We replied in the affirmative. The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade drinking it. This question and answer occurred three times. The fourth time, he said, "People will not refrain from drinking it." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If they do not refrain, then kill them."
