Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Wabisa bin Ma’bad (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) to ask about virtue and sin. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Have you come to ask me about virtue and sin?" I replied, "By the One Who has sent you with the truth, I have come to ask you about nothing else." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Virtue is that which brings contentment to your heart, and sin is that which causes uneasiness in your heart, even if people keep giving you legal verdicts."
