Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو يَعْنِي ابْنَ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقْرَأُ {وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ} [الزخرف: ٧٧] " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ya'la (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) reciting this verse on the pulpit: "Wa naadaw ya Malik."
