Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ya'la (may Allah be pleased with him) that my laborer (tenant) had a fight with a man. That man took his hand into his mouth and bit it. When he pulled his hand away, the man's tooth broke. He went to the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) rejected his claim and said, "Should he have left his hand in your mouth so that you could keep chewing it like a bull?"
