حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي الدِّيلِ (١)، ١٧٨٩٠ - حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عِمْرَانُ بْنُ أَبِي أَنَسٍ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ بَنِي الدِّيلِ قَالَ: صَلَّيْتُ الظُّهْرَ فِي بَيْتِي، ثُمَّ خَرَجْتُ بِأَبَاعِرَ لِي لِأُصْدِرَهَا إِلَى الرَّاعِي، فَمَرَرْتُ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ الظُّهْرَ، فَمَضَيْتُ فَلَمْ أُصَلِّ مَعَهُ، فَلَمَّا أَصْدَرْتُ أَبَاعِرِي وَرَجَعْتُ، ذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لِي: " مَا مَنَعَكَ يَا فُلَانُ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ مَعَنَا حِينَ مَرَرْتَ بِنَا؟ " قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ، ، يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي قَدْ كُنْتُ صَلَّيْتُ فِي بَيْتِي، قَالَ: " وَإِنْ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from a man of Banu Deil that once I performed the Zuhr prayer at my home and set out with my camels to hand them over to the shepherds. On the way, I passed by the Prophet (peace be upon him) who was leading the people in the Zuhr prayer. I passed by there, and when the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to know, he said, "What prevented you from praying with us?" I submitted, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), I had already performed the prayer at my home." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Even though you had already performed the prayer (you should have joined us with the intention of a voluntary prayer)."
