حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " مَنْ وَجَدَ تَمْرًا فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَيْهِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ تَمْرًا فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى مَاءٍ، فَإِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated in a mawquf form from Salman bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when any one of you breaks his fast, he should do so with dates; if dates are not available, then he should break his fast with water, for water is purifying.
