حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي حَاجِبٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ الْغِفَارِيِّ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ بِفَضْلِهَا، لَا يَدْرِي بِفَضْلِ وَضُوئِهَا، أَوْ فَضْلِ سُؤْرِهَا " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Hakam bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade a man from performing ablution with water left over by a woman. It is not known whether "left over" refers to water remaining after ablution or water left after drinking.
