حَدَّثَنَاهُ جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، قَالَ: دَخَلَ الْعَبَّاسُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّا لَنَخْرُجُ فَنَرَى قُرَيْشًا تَحَدَّثُ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Al-"Abbas narrated: I said to the Prophet (ﷺ):
How did you help your uncle, when he used to protect you and get angry for your sake? He said: “He is in the shallowest part of Hell; were it not for me, he would be in the lowest depths of Hell."
