حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي لَيْثٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ الْكِنْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الثَّيِّبُ تُعْرِبُ عَنْ نَفْسِهَا، وَالْبِكْرُ رِضَاهَا صَمْتُهَا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: A previously married woman will express her consent verbally in the case of a second marriage, and the silence of a virgin is her consent.
