حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَدِيُّ بْنُ عَمِيرَةَ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ (١)،
Translation
English translation
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Isma'il informed us, from Qays, he said: 'Adi ibn 'Amirah narrated to me, and he mentioned the hadith. Waki' narrated to us, Ibn Abi Khalid narrated to us, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, from 'Adi ibn 'Amirah al-Kindi, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Whoever we appoint over a task," and he mentioned its meaning.
