Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ، وَسُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ جَزْءٍ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ، قَالَ: " أَكَلْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شِوَاءً فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، ثُمَّ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَضَرَبْنَا أَيْدِيَنَا فِي الْحَصَى، ثُمَّ قُمْنَا فَصَلَّيْنَا وَلَمْ نَتَوَضَّأْ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that once in the Suffah, we ate roasted food with the Prophet (ﷺ), then the prayer was established, so we stood up and started praying and performed a new ablution.
