حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَهْلَ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، فَذَكَرُوا أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: وَرَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ، وَوُهَيْبٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وقَالَ غَيْرُهُمَا: عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, he said: I asked the people of al-Hakam ibn Sufyan, and they mentioned that he did not meet the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: And it was narrated by Shu'bah and Wuhaib from Mansur from Mujahid from al-Hakam ibn Sufyan from his father that he saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. And others said: from Mansur from Mujahid from al-Hakam ibn Sufyan, he said: I saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
