حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ الْأَوْدِيُّ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ هَرِمِ بْنِ خَنْبَشٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فِي أَيِّ الشُّهُورِ أَعْتَمِرُ؟ قَالَ: " اعْتَمِرِي فِي رَمَضَانَ، فَإِنَّ عُمْرَةً فِي رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حَجَّةً " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Khnabash Tai (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was sitting in the company of the Prophet (ﷺ) when a woman came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! In which month should I perform Umrah?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Perform Umrah in the month of Ramadan, for performing Umrah in Ramadan is equal to Hajj."
