حَدِيثُ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ جُعْشُمٍ (١)، ١٧٥٨١ - حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ جُعْشُمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ جُعْشُمٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الضَّالَّةِ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ تَغْشَى حِيَاضِي، هَلْ لِي مِنْ أَجْرٍ أَسْقِيهَا؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، في (٢) كُلِّ ذَاتِ كَبِدٍ حَرَّى (٣) أَجْرٌ" (٤)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Suraqah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the stray camels that come to my pond—will I receive reward for giving them water? The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Yes! There is reward in (showing kindness to) every living being with a moist liver.
