Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ (١) أَبِي رَافِعٍ، مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ كَانَ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ، وَزَعَمَ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Abu Rafi", the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), that
"Abdullah bin Ja"far used to wear a ring on his right hand, and he said that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to wear a ring on his right hand.
