حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ: ذُو الْبِجَادَيْنِ: " إِنَّهُ أَوَّاهٌ ". وَذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ رَجُلًا كَثِيرَ الذِّكْرِ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي الْقُرْآنِ، وَيَرْفَعُ صَوْتَهُ فِي الدُّعَاءِ (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said regarding a man named Dhulbijadain: "He is one who weeps and cries much. That person used to remember Allah abundantly in the recitation of the Qur'an and would supplicate in a loud voice."
