حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِمَاسَةَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ، لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ أَنْ يُغَيِّبَ مَا بِسِلْعَتِهِ عَنْ أَخِيهِ إِنْ، ، عَلِمَ بِهَا تَرَكَهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Every Muslim is a brother to another Muslim. It is not lawful for any Muslim to conceal any defect in goods from his brother, such that if he were to know of that defect, he would leave it.
