Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي مِشْرَحُ بْنُ هَاعَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " أَسْلَمَ النَّاسُ، وَآمَنَ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِي " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "The people have accepted Islam, and Amr bin Aas has brought faith."
