Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْمُصْعَبِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " أَكْثَرُ مُنَافِقِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ قُرَّاؤُهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Most of the hypocrites of my Ummah will be among the reciters (Qurra).
