Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were sitting on the platform (Suffah) when the Prophet (ﷺ) came there and said: "Which one of you would like to go to the place of Bathan or Aqeeq and bring back every day two large, humped, and bright-foreheaded she-camels without committing any sin or severing ties of kinship?" We said, "O Messenger of Allah! (ﷺ) each one of us would like that." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "If any one of you goes to the mosque and learns two verses from the Book of Allah, it is better for him than those two she-camels. Learning three verses is better than three she-camels, and learning four verses is better than four she-camels, and so on, increasing in number of verses and camels."
