حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي (٢) عُشَّانَةَ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا تَكْرَهُوا الْبَنَاتِ، فَإِنَّهُنَّ الْمُؤْنِسَاتُ الْغَالِيَاتُ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Uqbah bin Aamir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Do not consider daughters as a burden, for they are extremely precious companions in grief.
