حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَحْشٍ (١)، ١٧٢٥٣ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو كَثِيرٍ، مَوْلَى اللَّيْثِيِّينَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَحْشٍ (٢) ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَاذَا لِي إِنْ قُتِلْتُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " الْجَنَّةُ " فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قَالَ: " إِلَّا الدَّيْنُ، سَارَّنِي بِهِ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ آنِفًا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! (ﷺ) If I am martyred in the way of Allah, what will I receive?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Paradise." When he turned to leave, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Except for debt, for this has just now been told to me by Jibreel (peace be upon him)."
