حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ يَحْتَزُّ مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ (١) ، ثُمَّ دُعِيَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ، فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Amr bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I once saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) tearing and eating the meat from the shoulder of a goat. Then he was called for prayer, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) put down the knife and did not perform a new ablution.
