Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُبَارَكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ " رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Amr bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wiping over his leather socks.
