حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ الْأَبْرَشُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمِقْدَامِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "، ، أَفْلَحْتَ يَا قُدَيْمُ إِنْ مِتَّ وَلَمْ (١) تَكُنْ أَمِيرًا وَلَا جَابِيًا وَلَاعَرِيفًا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Miqdam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "O Qadeem! You have succeeded if you die in such a state that you are neither a ruler, nor a tax collector, nor a chieftain."
