حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، وَبَهْزٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ - قَالَ بَهْزٌ: الْبَدْرِيِّ -، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ إِذَا أَنْفَقَ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ نَفَقَةً وَهُوَ يَحْتَسِبُهَا كَانَتْ لَهُ صَدَقَةً " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When a Muslim spends something on his family seeking reward, then that spending is also charity."
