Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسُ مِنْ كَلَامِ النُّبُوَّةِ الْأُولَى إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحْيِ فَافْعَلْ مَا شِئْتَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Among the words that people have found from the first Prophethood is this: If you do not have shame and modesty, then do whatever you wish."
