حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، وَالثَّوْرِيُّ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو الْبَدْرِيَّ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسُ مِنْ كَلَامِ النُّبُوَّةِ الْأُولَى إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحِ فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Among the words that people have found from the first prophethood is this: If you have no shame, then do whatever you wish."
