حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَبَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ، وَمَشَى وَلَمْ يَرْكَبْ، فَدَنَا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ وَاسْتَمَعَ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ، كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ، ، أَجْرُ سَنَةٍ، صِيَامِهَا وَقِيَامِهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: When Friday comes, if a person performs ghusl, then sets out early, sits near the khateeb, listens attentively and silently, then for every step he takes, he will receive the reward of fasting for a year and standing in prayer for a year.
