حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْخَوْلَانِيُّ، أَنَّ رَوْحَ بْنَ زِنْبَاعٍ زَارَ تَمِيمًا الدَّارِيَّ فَوَجَدَهُ يُنَقِّي شَعِيرًا لِفَرَسِهِ قَالَ: وَحَوْلَهُ أَهْلُهُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَوْحٌ: أَمَا كَانَ فِي هَؤُلَاءِ مَنْ يَكْفِيكَ؟ قَالَ تَمِيمٌ: بَلَى، وَلَكِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَا مِنْ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ يُنَقِّي لِفَرَسِهِ شَعِيرًا، ثُمَّ يُعَلِّقُهُ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ حَبَّةٍ حَسَنَةٌ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Ruh bin Zinba’ says that once he went to meet Tamim Dari (may Allah be pleased with him). Upon arrival, he saw that he himself was cleaning barley grains for his horse, even though his family members were present there. Ruh said, “Can none of them do this work?” He replied, “Why not, but the thing is that I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: ‘Whoever among the Muslims cleans barley grains for his horse and then feeds them to it, for every grain a good deed will be written for him.’”
