حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي خُصَيْفٌ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، وَعَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ، أخْبَرَهُ: أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَصَّرَ مِنْ شَعَرِهِ بِمِشْقَصٍ " فَقُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: مَا بَلَغَنَا هَذَا الْأَمْرُ (١) إِلَّا عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ؟ فَقَالَ: " مَا كَانَ مُعَاوِيَةُ، عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُتَّهَمًا " (٢)، •
Translation
English translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) cut the hair of the Prophet’s (ﷺ) head with the scissors he had with him.
