Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "A group from my Ummah will always remain on the truth; they will not care about those who oppose them or those who abandon them, until the command of Allah comes and they will prevail over the people." Upon this, Malik bin Yukhamir Siksaki stood up and said: O Commander of the Believers! I heard Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) say that by this are meant the people of Sham. So Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) raised his voice and said: Malik is saying that he heard Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) say that by this are meant the people of Sham.
