حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي الْفَيْضِ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever deliberately attributes a false statement to me, let him prepare his abode in the Hellfire."
