Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that you people perform such a prayer that, despite the companionship of the Prophet (ﷺ), we did not see him performing this prayer; rather, he used to forbid it. What is meant are the two (nafl) rak‘ahs after ‘Asr (which he saw some people performing).
