قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ (٣) ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حُجَيْرٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ، لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنِّي " قَصَّرْتُ مِنْ رَأْسِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِشْقَصٍ " فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: لَا قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّادٍ، فِي حَدِيثِهِ: قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ: وَهَذِهِ حُجَّةٌ عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says that Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me that I cut the hair of the Prophet’s (ﷺ) head with the scissors I had with me. I said to him: I consider this as proof against you.
