حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، وَيَعْلَى، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَحْيَى، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ الْمُؤَذِّنِينَ أَطْوَلُ النَّاسِ أَعْنَاقًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: On the Day of Resurrection, the mu’adhdhins will have the longest necks.
