حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا جَبَلَةُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا أَرَادَ اللهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْرًا فَقَّهَهُ فِي الدِّينِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Amir Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When Allah intends good for a servant, He grants him understanding of the religion."
