Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Khalid bin Waleed (may Allah be pleased with him) that once there was an argument between me and Ammar bin Yasir over something, and I said something harsh to him. Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) went to complain to the Prophet (ﷺ). Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) also arrived there and saw that he was complaining about him to the Prophet (ﷺ), so his tone became even harsher. The Prophet (ﷺ) remained silent and did not say anything. Then Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) began to weep and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Do you not see him?" The Prophet (ﷺ) raised his head and said, "Whoever is hostile to Ammar, Allah is hostile to him, and whoever hates Ammar, Allah also hates him." Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) says that when I left from there, nothing was dearer to me than to please Ammar, so I met him and he was pleased.
