حَدِيثُ الْفَاكِهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، • ١٦٧٢٠ - قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ: حَدَّثَنِي نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ (١) الْخَطْمِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْفَاكِهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْفَاكِهِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ - وَكَانَتْ (٢) لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ -، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَيَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ، وَيَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ، وَيَوْمَ النَّحْرِ " قَالَ: " وَكَانَ الْفَاكِهُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُ بِالْغُسْلِ فِي هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Fakih bin Sa’d that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform ghusl (ritual bath) with special care on the day of Jumu’ah, the day of ‘Arafah, the day of Eid al-Fitr, and the day of Eid al-Adha. Fakih bin Sa’d himself would also instruct his family members to perform ghusl on these days.
